Make Your Next Party Magical with Fair Maidens and Masks
Phoenix mom opens new business bringing princesses and superheroes to the Valley of the Sun.
Phoenix, Ariz. (July 1, 2017) – Fair Maidens and Masks opens July 1, 2017 offering the Valley true to character princesses and superheroes for birthday parties, corporate or community events with a choice of 19 characters.
“Our team members are well trained. Most have a professional acting or singing background and are passionate about providing child centered entertainment,” said Jenna Workman, Founder and Owner of Fair Maidens and Masks.
The idea for the company was sparked after Workman took her two girls, ages 2 and 4, on vacation to their favorite theme park.
“We were really going just for the experience for my 4-year-old to see the princesses because they’re still so young to do the rides or stay at the theme park for very long,” Workman said. Her husband said at the time he wished there was an easier way to bring the experience to them.
“We believe with our business background we could really make a difference, make our services more known, and make this industry more mainstream having superheroes or princesses at every child’s birthday party.”
A standard package includes one character for one hour for $150. A multiple character discount of 50% does apply as well as a discounted rate for each additional hour. Workman recommends both a princess and superhero if there are both girls and boys.
“We have interactive story time where they read the story of their character, make it very interactive with questions and songs. We go straight into princess lessons or superhero training. We customize parities based on an activity or game of the parent or the birthday child’s choice including face painting, nail painting, makeup, hair, theme related and age appropriate games.”
All characters talk and stay in character during the entire event. An extensive background screening is also done on employees.
Workman also wants to give back to the community and hopes to partner with non-profit organizations to help less fortunate kids who can only dream of meeting their favorite princess or superhero.
“So if we’re able to bring some of that magic and innocence back into their lives that’s something I’m really passionate about,” said Workman. “I hope we can give back with this company as well as help terminally ill children.”
